Using the HP ScanJet 6350

  DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS!!!!

1.  You can get to the HP PrecisionScan Pro software in two ways.

1. Double click on the shortcut on the Desktop
2. Start, Programs, HP Scan jet Software, HP Precision Scan Pro

   2. Place your document to be scanned on the scanner face down.

NOTE:  If doing multiple pages you may want to use the Automatic Document Feeder.  See the How to Use ADF.

Do not touch the Glass!! The glass scratches very easily, and smears decrease the quality of the scan job.

3. Click Scan, Preview to see what the document will look like. If you do not like this adjust it and re-preview it.
   

4. When you have the document, as you want it select the area to be scanned by clicking and dragging a box around it with your mouse pointer.
   

5.  Then click scan, Save as and select where you want the image to be saved to and what the file name should be. Then Click Save.
   

6. You can now open that document in other programs from where you saved it.
