Mission Statement

The Mentoring Program shall serve as a significant part of Project IBS-CORE Summer Research Fellowships to promote the improvement of academic success, retention and the successful graduation of students through mentoring activities and support programs that encourage scientific skill development, academic excellence, self-esteem, and personal growth of participating students.
